Chapter 01 · Introduction

Hi, I’m Zachariah.

I’m a graphic designer and visual storyteller who recently graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from Oral Roberts University. I believe great design sits at the intersection of clarity, emotion, and purpose.

Over the past several years I’ve developed skills in branding, logo design, web design, and visual communication. My background working in fast-paced customer environments, from theater operations to quality-focused manufacturing, has taught me how to listen carefully, solve problems creatively, and deliver work that actually serves people.

Case study

The brief

Sell each show to a campus walking past it: dates, venue, and QR ticketing legible at a glance, inside the university’s brand rules.

The approach

Four productions, four visual worlds: painted movement for a choreography showcase, warm classical photography for the orchestra, illustrated profiles for a baroque opera, and street-level collage for Godspell. One consistent information system carries them all.

Metro Machine Works logo, primary colorway: a welder inside a gear above a bold yellow nameplate Metro Machine Works logo, one-color black version Metro Machine Works logo, one-color grey version

Metro Machine Works

Ground-up identity for an industrial machine shop: badge mark, color system, and full usage guidelines.

Branding · Logo Design · Visual Identity 2025

Case study

The brief

Give a machine shop an identity as solid as the work it does: one mark that survives signage, vehicle wraps, uniforms, and single-color print.

The approach

The badge joins the gear and the welder, the two things that define the shop, and holds up at any size, in any color. Yellow, grey, and black do the talking: caution-sign directness for an industrial trade, set in AMBOY with Mae for text. Documented as a complete guideline set covering logo usage, color, typography, photography, and mockups.

Zero to Animation

Short animated piece exploring the journey from zero to finished animation, featured at the university art exhibition.

Animation · Motion Design · Photography 2026

Case study

The brief

Learn 3D by shipping it: take one idea from an empty Blender viewport to a finished, watchable piece.

The approach

Modeled, animated, and rendered end-to-end in Blender, then cut and titled for the screen. Selected for the university’s senior art exhibition.

MasterWork Gallery Shopify storefront homepage

MasterWork Gallery E-commerce

Brand identity and a fully functional Shopify store, live at masterworkgallery.com.

Web Design · Shopify · E-commerce 2026

Case study

The brief

A working gallery with original art to sell, and no brand identity or online store to sell it with.

The approach

Identity first: the monogram mark, type and color choices, and usage guidelines to keep the brand consistent wherever it appears. That system then shaped a Shopify storefront built around the art itself, with full-bleed imagery and quiet UI so nothing competes with the work.

The outcome

The store launched and now puts the gallery’s catalog in front of collectors it could never reach in person, with one identity consistent from logo to checkout. As brand lead I still maintain and evolve the system today.
